Tamil Nadu: Covid Level 3rd Wave Wall Gathering Speed

Chennai: The epidemic graph of the third wave looks at falling fast because fresh and active cases make a quick decline in all districts.
On Monday, the state added 19,280 cases and issued 25,056 patients from the state registry pushing the active case under the sign of 2 lakh to 1.98 lakh.
With 20 deaths took the cumulative death toll since March 2020 rose to 37,564.
“We see a quick decline in new cases such as Maharashtra, Delhi, Kerala, and Karnataka.
The number of people discharged is higher than new cases and the difference increases every day,” said Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan.
“Unlike what commented on by people about social media, this has nothing to do with the election.
Our hospital receipts also dropped,” he said.
On Monday, the difference between acceptance and disposal was 5.776 compared to 4,386 on Sunday, 3,467 on Saturday, and 1,623 on Friday.
New cases in all districts dropped dramatically on Wednesday when the cases in Chennai fell to 2,897 followed by 2,456 in Coimbatore.
Chengalpattu (1,430), Tirupur (1,425), Salem (1,101) and Erode (1,070) each reported more than 1000 cases.
Higher prevalence in Ranipet and Krishnagiri, in addition to the Western District, but cases fell throughout the state.
Of the 20 deaths, there were six in Chennai, three in Coimbatore and two each in Chengalpet, Trichy and Kancheepuram.
Five other districts – Thanjavur, Thiruvannamalai, Thiruvarur, Thoothukudi and Nagapattinam – reported about their respective deaths.
“Unlike the second wave of only 5% of the active case in the hospital.
There is no shortage of drugs or oxygen but many patients continue to have complications.
At least 15% of patients are still influenced by the Delta variant.
