Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government on Friday expanded existing locking until August 9 without new relaxation.

Hotels, bakeries, tea shops and roadside shops will also be left open until 9pm but only with 50% customer capacity.
The government’s order reaffirms that actions against those who violate social distance norms and other guidelines that fit Covid will continue.
