MADURAI: A 57-year-old farmer suffered injuries when a bear attacked him while he had been in his farmland at Theni district of Tamil Nadu on Saturday morning.
Muthumani, 57, of Arasaradi village has been remaining in his farmland found several kilometers away from his home.
The farmland is close to Varusanadu forest array.
He implanted cashew and silk-cotton trees in his property.
On Saturday afternoon, Muthumani went across his territory and seen a bear.
The keep pounced on him and assaulted him onto his face, stomach and hands.

He endured grievous injuries and was rushed into Theni Medical College Hospital.
Following first aid, he had been changed to Government Rajaji Hospital at Madurai.
