Coimbatore: Indian Texpreneurs Federation (ITF) has appealed the state government to facilitate the small and medium sector and home textile sector to develop by preparing plug and play facilities for garment stitch facilities in small cities.
“We can choose 10 to 15 small cities with good labor availability and make small plugs and play infrared for seam facilities.
This will spread sectors in various parts of our country and help avoid density in several clusters.
This will also create new jobs In small cities, “ITF said in a memorandum for the Textile Minister R Gandhi and the Thangam Thananasu Industry Minister.
Giving a suggestion of five points for the growth of the textile sector in the state, conventional ITF Prabhu Damodharan and members of the Saravanan Board, who met the ministers, said the country could arrange a road map to take advantage of the opportunity that emerged with the Mitra Park Scheme by creating a park plugel & Play Park is integrated for building scales, competitiveness and allowing developing-sized companies.
Underging the need to compile a special theme for the brand of textile and underwear sectors as the most sustainable destination for fashion sources, ITF said such branding will also help this sector capture market share in value-added products.
Appointing to good trade relations between the state and Japan, ITF said the state government could facilitate a working group with 50 clothing companies to work exclusively with the Japanese clothing market.
