Chennai: The state government will publish an annual economic survey before the budget, starting from the next financial year, Minister of Finance P that Palanivel Thiaga Rajan said in the assembly on Thursday.
The government will review the scheme announced under 110 rule by the AIDMK regime in the last 10 years, he said.
It will see the number of schemes announced, how many of them are implemented, their sources of funds and their impact on the state, the Minister said.
“It does not have a political motive.
Review of schemes applied by various departments will also be carried out,” he said.
Structural reform is the first government job.
Data-centric governance, increased accountability and productivity, creating government assets and risk management is one of the structural reforms, he said.
Thiaga Rajan said the economic council of five members of the chairman’s minister would help the government achieve this.
The government has planned a pilot internship program to involve financial, legal and other disciplines.
They will work with government departments on allowances.
This will help increase community participation in governance and also running away in making them aware of their civil rights and responsibilities, he said.
“We are here to fulfill our CM dreams, which reflect the collective dream of the people.
We need administrative skills because CM has a political will (to realize change),” he said.
Thiaga Rajan, however, is different from CM policy “everything for everyone”.
“With its permission, I want to change it a little.
The government cannot give everything to everyone evenly.
If the government does that, it will go bankrupt.
It must be done in accordance with social justice,” said Minister, suggesting that the benefits of the government will only reach .
He said the DMK government would be forced to make strong decisions because the previous government did not follow fiscal discipline.
Generating the critics inside and outside the Assembly, Thiaga Rajan said the legislature must discuss the economy of the country to run a stable government and implement its development program.
