Coimbatore: A 20-year-old neet candidate died of suicide in the Coimbatore of Tamil Nadu district for fear of failure in Neet.
He appeared for Neet which was held in September.
The result will be announced in a few days.
The deceased has been identified as K byhivasia from Sangarypuram who tried Neet for the third time this year after not being able to remove the entrance test in 2019 and 2020.
After the answer key was issued by the national testing body, Keautter realized that he would not be able to remove this year’s test.
According to officers at the Kinathukadavu Police Station, Jadivasia was angry because he could not clean the Near for the third time and told this to his parents.
His parents asked him to wait for the results and then decided to repeat the NEET or look for another option.
But he consumed pesticides at his home on Friday afternoon.
He rushed to the Polachi government hospital from where he was referred to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital.
He died on Friday night.
