Chennai: Corporate Development of the Minority of Tamil Nadu, the State Government, offering loans to beneficiaries of religious minorities for entrepreneurship.
According to press releases, state-owned companies offer financial assistance under two schemes, up to a maximum of Rs 20 Lakh and Rs 30 Lakh.
While the annual family income applicants for the first scheme should not be more than Rs 1.2 lakh, the income ceiling for the second scheme is Rs 8 Lakh.
Loans of RS 10 Lakh are also offered to craftsmen.
In a press release here, Chennai District collector Dr.
J Vijaya Rani said the application can be accessed through the portal https://chennai.nic.in/ and the applications that are filled can be sent with the required documents.
