Coimbatore: The main district and judge session on Wednesday triggered a guarantee to a 30-year-old Pudur Pudur resident, who was arrested by city police in December to post social media to his religion.
M Aneesh, a famous former Muslim in the Circle of Atheis Tamil, was ordered by the Kuniyamuth police on December 29 after the complaint submitted by Sub-Inspector V Ganesh Kumar.
He was ordered below in Section 153 (a) (promoting hostility between different groups on the basis of religion, race, place of birth, residence, language, etc., and carrying out prejudicable measures for harmony), 295 (a) (intentional and dangerous and dangerous Act is intended to prevent religious feelings of any class by insulting religion or religious beliefs) and 505 (2) (statements creating or promoting hostility, hatred or bad intentions between the classes) of the Criminal Code.
According to FIR, Aneesh posted Meme asking Islamic principles and criticizing the Prophet Muhammad on his Facebook page.
The post is thought to create disharmony and clashes together between different religions.
Judge R Saktthivel said the accusation was uncertain.
“The court cannot find evidence of the prime facie that shows that the applicant causes disharmony among the general public,” he said.
“He has rights, under the constitution of India, to express the views of the religion and the existence of God.”
