CHENNAI: Children and parents would like to have the nation board Class XII examinations cancelled in accordance with the CBSE, although instructors wish to maintain them.
The state government has requested about 7,000 higher secondary colleges to learn what teachers and parents believe.
The colleges compiled the comments and mailed it into the directorate of college instruction on Thursday.
The faculty instruction department will maintain an internet meeting of healthcare professionals, educationists and officials on Friday.
It may submit a report on chief minister M K Stalin on Saturday about the matter.
C Thenmozhi, a parent in Kolathur, said pupils were under stress as a result of postponement of examinations.
“Health experts are saying the next wave will impact the kids.
Therefore, it’s best if the tests are cancelled,” she explained.
