Tamil Nadu: Police track three students who fled their homes in Tirupur

Coimbatore: Police Palladam has traced the three boys, who were missing from Arivozhi Nagar within their jurisdiction in Tirupur on Friday, to a commercial complex only 2 km from their residence on Sunday and handed it to their parents.
The police said the trio had run away from their homes when their parents often scolded them.
A police officer said S Rathish, 14, Manikandan, 13, and R Simon Prakash, 13, all the residents of Arivozhi Nagar in Palladam, had gone to the nearest place to play on Friday.
“When they did not go home at the end of the night, their parents launched their search in the nearest area and at their relatives’ house.
When they failed to find it after the search, which lasted until Sunday morning, they filed a complaint to us.” Police Palladam registered a case of people who were Lost and launch the probe.
“During the investigation, we know the trio used to visit one of their friends’ houses every day to refresh themselves and eat.
They sleep on the commercial complex terrace located 2 km from Arivozhi Nagar.
We took it from there and handed it to their parents,” The officer said.
He said Rathish was a class IX student from the government of the government of the government in Dharapuram, while Manikandan, a student and Simon class VIII, a class IX student, was studying in government high school in Udumalpet.
