Madurai: Covid-19 Cases may drop steadily in most districts across the state, but post-covid clinics established in government medical colleges see less patients who come to follow up unlike the first wave of last year’s pandemic.
This is regardless of the fact that there has been a significant increase in their numbers with post-covid vascular complications and mukormycosis during the second wave.
The doctor has called for more vigilance among Covid-19 patients about post-covid complications.
The doctor at the Madurai Rajaji Hospital (GRH) said that they recovered from Covid-19 did not take the possibility of post-covid symptoms seriously.
