Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government announces that public and party cadres have contributed RS 13 Lakh to the Public Assistance Funds of the minister’s head to Bilbir Relief works.
The chairman of the minister on Saturday visited Cuddalore, Thiruvarur, and the delta district affected by rain.
The state government also formed a committee to examine the level of rain damage in Delta due to heavy rain last week.
Because of the flood, thousands of hectares have been flooded in the Delta district.
