Tamil Nadu ranks second in the Niti Aayog health index

New Delhi: Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Telangana appeared as the top three countries in terms of overall performance in accordance with the Niti Aayog health index, while Uttar Pradesh topped the table on a gradual show even though it was below.

The purpose of the Annual Health Index is to track progress on health outcomes and the performance of the health system, developing healthy competition and encouraging cross-learning among the countries and the territory of the trade union.
The report said it was expected that this exercise would help encourage the country’s efforts and ut to the achievement of health-related development goals (SDGs) including those related to the coverage of universal health (UHC) and other health outcomes.
