Chennai: At least 3.715 was tested positive for Covid-19 in Tamil Nadu on Monday when the sample was taken from 1.5 lakh people for the RPCR test.
While the cumulative case calculated a sign of 25 lakh, 54 deaths reported on Monday took the death toll to 33,059.
In the end there were 34,926 people who were still seeking treatment for viral infections.
“The weekly TPR fell below 3% throughout the country,” said Health Secretary J Radhakrishnan.
“The state has relaxed locking norms in all districts.
But people must follow the Pandemic Protocol.
They must wear a mask and maintain social distance,” he said.
While Coimbatore reported 436 new cases – the highest – followed by 330 in Erode, all other districts in the state have less than 250 cases.
Among cities, Chennai reported 214 new cases, followed by 157 in Trichy and 73 in Madurai.
At least 28 districts in the country report cases in two digits where 15 districts reported less than 50 cases each.
With 20 layer cases reported the lowest number of cases followed by 21 new cases in Thirupathur.
With a decrease in cases, residential beds in the Covid ward drop significantly.
While Erode has 4,080 people in the active registry, Coimbatore reported that there were 2992 patients who were still seeking treatment.
Chennai and Thanjavur each have active cases of 1937 and 1936.
Barring10 districts, active cases below in almost all districts.
Ramanathapuram has 171 active cases, at least in the state, followed by 217 in Thirupathur and 227 in the screens.
Active cases fell below 2k in Pondy the number of Covid-19 cases actively fell below 2,000 after three months in Puducherry.
Territory reported 128 new cases even as 262 patients recovered reduced the number of active cases to 1,871 on Monday.

Puducherry headquarters have a maximum active case with 1,451 followed by Karaikan (276), MAHE (106) and Yanam (38).
A 89-year-old man from Puducherry died because the infection took the death toll to 1,762.
