Tamil Nadu reports 1,957 new cases, 28 deaths

Chennai: new cases dipped after four days of climbing on Monday, when Tamil Nadu reported1,957 cases compared with 1990 on Sunday, and 1,986 on Saturday.
But at least 14 districts, including Chennai, reported an increase in new cases compared to Sundays.
At the end of the day there were 20,385 people who were still under treatment for viral infections.
The cumulative case connects 25.63 lakh and the death toll reached 34,130 including 28 deaths calculated by the registry on Monday.
While the cases in Chennai increased until 175 compared to 175 on Sundays, Coimbatore continued to lead chart with 219 cases.
The western district reported 230 cases on Sunday.
Coimbatore restrictions on all other districts reported less than 200 cases.
Erode (168).
Chengalpet (127), Thanjavur (123) reported more than 1.00 cases and three districts – Tenkasi (9), Ramanathapuram (8) and Screenson (7) – reported cases in one digit.
Cases in Tuticorin, Thirupathur and Trichy rose to 23, 24 and 75 of14.18 and 69.
Samples were taken from 1.4Lh people on Monday when 2,068 was disposed of from the registry.
While active cases declined in the state, it increased in Coimbatore until 2008 from 1,961 on Sunday.
Active cases also increased in Chennai to 1,735 on Monday from 1,675 on Sundays, and in Erode to 1,568 of 1,523 over the same period of time.
On Monday, 3.2 Lakh people took vaccines to take the calculation of doses in the government sector to 2.18 crores.
Since May 1, a private hospital has offered 15.80 doses of lakh.
