CHENNAI: During the last week, the amount of cases reported by rural pockets of Coimbatore climbed to 51 percent while the everyday Covid-19 caseload dropped to 49 percent in town.
While the fall in urban places has been accelerated, the autumn remains slow in rural regions, especially in and about Sulur and Thudiyalur at Coimbatore.
Sulur city panchayat alone was reporting approximately 100 instances every day, accounting for 10 percent of the overall cases from the area.
A number of these two pockets in Sulur popped up industrial clusters in May, because of the existence of small and micro businesses.

“Today there aren’t any particular clusters or hotspots,” a wellness club stated.
