Tamil Nadu School to Reopen On September 1

Chennai: The Tamil Nadu government has planned to reopen schools for class IX, X, XI and XII students on September 1, Minister M Sydin said on Friday.
All medical colleges, nurse colleges, paramedic and ally health sciences were allowed to reopen on August 16.
In a statement, the main minister said medical experts during the meeting in the morning unanimously revealed the need to reopen the school.
“Experts say that staying at home for several months without going to school causing great stress between children and great learning gaps in the community.
They also show that online classes are not available for most children.
It is proposed to reopen the school following the procedure Standard operation in Covid-19 with 50% of students in class IX, X, XI and XII at a time from September 1, based on the view of all parts, “said the ministerial head.
The school education department has been told to do preliminary work.
The minister’s chairman holds a review meeting with health experts and officials on Friday because the current lock will expire on August 9.
The minister said that locking will be extended for two weeks to 6 in the morning on August 23, it is prohibited from all places of worship on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
New locking rules will take effect on August 9.
He said infectious diseases were controlled because of the effective steps taken by each district collector, corporate commissioners and police in public gathering places.
Awareness also increased after the State-Wide program was launched last week.
The minister’s chairman said the health and family welfare department would release standard operating procedures for medical colleges.
Students and faculty members have been vaccinated because they are treated as health staff.
“Local agencies must ensure that the meat and fish stalls are separated and sold in an open place to avoid crowding in the meat and fish market,” said the ministerial head.
The respective district collectors and those responsible for local bodies must create awareness and take action on precautions.
Everyone must take an appointment to prevent the spread of the virus and follow it in words and deeds, Stalin said.
