CHENNAI: City colleges are maintaining Class XII students occupied with numerous online revision examinations through the lockdown to make sure they remain in attention.
Some colleges are seeing near 100 percent attendance as students believe these evaluations could carry a weightage in the event the government resisted the board examinations in light of this pandemic.
The examinations, conducted common question newspapers in colleges across the Chennai district, have been conducted for 3 hours in the afternoons.
Though the syllabus is intimated beforehand, question papers have been sent to colleges that share them among pupils through internet platforms.
G J Manohar, leader of MCC Higher Secondary School in Chetpet, stated every school follows distinct techniques to run the revision evaluations and track the examination.
“For instance, within our college, we’ll send Zoom hyperlinks to and in a moment, 400 students combine the movie assembly associate, take the examination with their cameras .
They place their response sheets on WhatsApp classes afterwards.
Many pupils are taking the examinations badly,” he explained.

Pupils wrote two revision evaluations in pencil and paper style before colleges were also closed.
The next round of revision evaluations began May 12 stopped on Thursday.
The fourth form of revision evaluations will be scheduled by May 24 to June 1.
Padmaja R, the headmistress of Chennai Girls Higher Secondary School in Saidapet, stated the revision evaluations are going to continue to keep the students connected with theories for the board examinations.
“While there have been teething difficulties initially, today, except for a couple pupils who confront technical problems, others look for the examinations regularly.
We allow pupils with technology glitches write the examination and article response scripts afterwards,” she explained.
“Our instructors take courses, describe doubts in the daytime and run revision evaluations in the day.
We’ve requested them to maintain a logbook of anything they teach through the lockdown,” stated Shanthi, headmistress of Jaigopal Garodia Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Virugambakkam.
“Teachers are adjusting the response sheets on the web and then uploading the response sheets from google induce,” she explained.
