Chennai: The Government of Tamil Nadu has proposed to reopen schools for IX, X, XI and XII students on September 1.
In a statement on Friday, the Chairperson of the Constitutional Court Minister Stalin said that it was decided to have 50% of students at that time part by following the standard operating procedure.
“The school education department has been told to start preliminary work,” he said.
All medical and breastfeeding colleges will be permitted to function from August 16.
The head of the minister said the Kuncian will be extended for two weeks to August 23.
Public worship will be banned in all places of worship on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Local bodies must ensure the sale of meat and fish in an open area separately to avoid crowding in the meat and fish markets.
