Chennai: The state government has decided to release 700 inmates of life on September 15 to mark the alert of the birth of the former Minister of C n Annadurai chairman.
Announcement in the State Assembly, Minister M K Stalin said the convicts, who had served punishment for years, were being released with humanitarian reasons.
