Letter: Add another feather to a hat, a 18-year-old student Tanay Tayal secured all Indians rank 15 in Jee Advanced.
Earlier this year he had reached Air 59 at Jee Mains.
Tayal has also won air 1 at the Indian Statistics Institute 2021 incoming examinations.
He has scored 120 of 120 in India Olympiad Qualification (Chemistry) 2020-21.
Aiming to become an engineer, Tayal did not allow his academic preparation to suffer even for one and a half years of the last global pandemic.
“I want to pursue BTECH in computer science from IIT Bombay.
My main focus is to provide a test paper to increase exam temperaments and increase speed with accuracy,” said Tayal.
He studied for more than eight hours every day.
Tayal, an English school student R M G Maheshwari, scored 95.6% in the XII class exam held recently.
His father Vineet was in the coal business while his mother Anita was a housewife.
Tanyal Tanisha’s sister is a class IX student.
Tayal took over 250 artificial tests before appearing at Jee Mains.
“Tayal hardworking and he did not lose his focus during the pandemic while preparing from home.
His appearance actually increased further,” said Nehchal Singh Hanspal, Central Head, Allen’s Career Institute, Letter.
