SALIGAO: Tar chunks have surfaced Vagator beach in North Goa and a few areas of the coastline have been influenced by the material.
Luckily, the shore — that is differently thronged by many tourists and sailors for their yearly saltwater bathroom in May — is mainly vacant as a result of curfew imposed in light of this Covid-19 pandemic.
