Patna: Head of Locate Party – Loktantrik Jan Adhikar (JAP-L) and former Parliament Rajesh Ranjesh alias Pappu Yadav on Tuesday said his party would provide support for Congress candidates in Tarapur on assembly scheduled for October 30.
Speaking to MedoodPersons after his release from prison, Yadav said he hoped Congress to play a strong opposition role in Bihar and at the national level.
He also warned the Grand Old Party against RJD, which lowered his candidate from the constituency of the Assembly of Kusheshwar Asthan and Tarapur in elections.
Asked about the merger of his party with the Congress, a former member of parliament, said the JAP-L core committee meeting would be held on Wednesday to intentional to this issue.
“I will talk to the leader of the Senior Congress Rahul Gandhi after a discussion at the Jap-L parliamentary meeting on Wednesday.
I will also talk to the former member of the Ranjeet Ranjan Parliament about this issue,” he said.
Yadav added, “It is up to the congress to decide what kind of support he wants from me and my party.
People want to see Congress in a new role.
The party leader must come to the expectations of the people.”
