Tasmac outlet to open today with a strict Covid-19 protocol

Coimbatore: Employees from Tamil Nadu Nadu Marketing Corporation (Tasmac) established a baric and circle marked to keep the physical distance in front of outlets a day in front of the opening on Monday.
“Wooden barrikades will be established in front of all outlets to prevent density.
Liquor will only be sold if the customer runs through the barricade.
Also, 50 circles will be marked in front of each outlet to ensure that the distance is maintained between customers,” said an official Tasmac.
Employees have been instructed not to sell liquor to customers if they violate Covid-19 guidelines, especially if they fail to use a mask and keep a distance.
“Volunteers will be deployed to provide hand cleansers to customers.
At the outlet where the selection of weight is expected, the staff has been directed to regulate two counters and adopt a token system.
The public address system will be used to instruct customers about Covid norms.
Police personnel will be deployed to prevent density , “said the official.
To ensure that this guide is followed by strictly, 10 committees consisting of income department officials have been formed.
Customers are prohibited from consuming liquor in public places.
Tasmac has issued a warning against the sale of illegal liquor, officially added.
