New Delhi: Tata Motors on Wednesday revealed Tigor EV which was all new, which is a second electric car company in the passenger vehicle segment.
The company has opened an online order and dealer at Rs 21,000 and will go on sale on August 31.
Tigor EV gets a 26 KWH Li-ion battery package, which can be recharged in less than 60 minutes in a 50kw fast charger.
The company will also install the AC 15A wall box socket in the owner’s choice.
For charging houses, it takes around 8.5 hours to charge from a capacity of 0% to 80%.
The battery is covered in an 8-year warranty package.
Range, it is expected that around 300 km / cargo, will be revealed during the launch.
The asynchronous motor encourages Tigor EV to 60 kmps of standstill in 5.7 seconds and power is ranked 55 kW and 170 nm.
The motor is paired with automatic transmission and two drive modes offered: Drive and Sport.

The 316-liter boot room can be expanded up to 375 liters based on the option to remove the backup wheel.
The company will also provide tire puncture customers.
