Tata Motors quarterly loss widened as a crunch chip weighted

Bengaluru: Tata Motors posted a broader quarterly loss on Monday, because of the lack of semiconductors and high-commodity prices of sales dents and production for car makers.

Retail sales in JLR, which contributed Most Tata Motors revenues, fell 18.4% from the previous year due to lack of semiconductor injuring production.
However, revenues rose 14.7% to Rs 61,379 Crore in the quarter ended September 30.
Tata Motors recorded the consolidated net loss of Rs 4,442 Crore ($ 593.02 million) for the quarter, compared to the loss of Rs 3,140 Crore a year earlier.
