Gurgaon: City corporation of Gurgaon (MCG) on Thursday sealed five properties of absent property tax.
Officials said that the action was taken because the property owner had not paid an extraordinary property tax worth Rs 31 Lakh.
Two of the property owners in Jacobpura are waiting for RS 14.17 lakh contributions, one owner in the corporation zone has a contribution worth Rs 4.9 lakh, the other has the intention of Rs 5.48 lakh and other property owners have not paid the number that yet Paid Rs 6.46 lakh.
Officials say that MCG will decide on water connections and sewerage from absent property tax and seal their properties.
Even after sealing if they failed to clean their contributions, their properties would be auctioned.
The Haryana government has also announced the release of 25% on property taxes for the fiscal year 2021-22 if paid on September 30.
