Chennai: request for high recovery and towing vehicles on Thursday because some vehicles are trapped in areas recorded throughout the city.
“We received almost 25 rescue calls.
But we can attend only half of them due to excess rain.
The majority of calls come from Kodambakkam, Vadapalani, Arumbakkam and Taramani,” said S Renjith Kumar from OMR Towing Services in Perungudi.
The price is 1,600 to Rs 2,500 to restore the car.
Not only private vehicles, such agents play a role in restoring auto and taxis, which is the only form of urban travel available in the interior area as public transportation is paralyzed.
In some places, autos and taxis are charged to ₹ 900 for a 10-km trip.
