Mumbai: Maharashtra reports a little panties in Covid cases and fatality on Thursday even when Mumbai continues to register a daily calculation of less than 300 cases for eight days in a row.
The state added 963 cases and 24 deaths on Thursday, and City 226 cases and one death, underlining the pause in the covid pandemic.
B Ward (from P d’Mello to Sandhurst Road) has not registered one case in the last eight days.
The BMC dash showed two registered cases on November 10, and the growth rate of a weekly rolling infection was zero (the average city was 0.03%).
B Ward, incidentally, has the lowest Caseload city since March 2020 at 4,121 so far.
“We have zero growth rates in other wards as well,” said BMC Executive Health Officer Dr.
Mangala Gomare.
But in the case of Ward B, there are no new cases registered too.
Officials said there were more than 15 districts with less than 100 active cases.
“There are districts that have not reported one death in more than 10 days.
Unless the new mutant is detected, the Covid situation tends to see a significant surge,” said one.
