Bengaluru: TCS said it would employ more than 40,000 engineering graduates from this fiscal campus, more than last year.
IT companies are building a strong bench to meet client requests that have risen during a pandemic.
The company employs more than 20,000 people in the first quarter.
“We hope that friction up and we will do all efforts to remain down in the upcoming quarter.
We have an operating model to ensure that it does not affect us,” Head of Global Human Resources, said Millind Lakkad.
Lakkad said on Thursday that the friction rate on TCS, currently 7-8%, is “artificial” because of a pandemic.
