Patna: The State Education Department on Friday issued direction for principals and teachers from all state government schools to gather information about people involved in consumption and supply of liquor, which are prohibited from Bihar since April 2016.

In the letter aimed at all regional deputy directors, district education officers and district program officers, the additional head secretary has stated that the principal and government teachers managed by elementary, medium and medium schools must be instructed to identify people involved in consumption or supply liquor and notify the excise department and ban.
