Thiruvananthapuram: Two faculties from the Valiyamala Institute of Space of Space and Technology (IIST) were included in the list of winning a award for young scientists institutionalized by the Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE) stated here on Thursday.
Anoop, Associate Professor, Avionics Department and Am Ramiya, Assistant Professor Department, Bumi and Space Science are recipients of the Institute of Science and Technology Technology, Kochi and Cr Jayanarauan, Assistant Professor, Mathematics Department, Institute of Indian Technology, Palakkad.
Awards are given to leading people for the achievement of important research.
The winner will receive RS 50,000 as a cash prize, a ministerial gold medal and financial assistance up to 50 lakh rs for recommended research projects.
