Ahmedabad: A decade after that CM Narendra Modi first used a holographic projection to overcome several demonstrations simultaneously hoping to captivate voters and improve their party’s prospects for the election of the Gujarat 2012 Assembly, the State Education Department aimed to take leaves from PM books.
To eliminate the specter of deteriorating school education results due to covid induced disorders, the state primary education department wants to use hologram technology to project lessons by the best teacher throughout the classroom, hoping to enchant and improve learning.
Project, carried out by Gujarat Education Technologies Limited with assistance from the Department of Foreign Affairs Science and Technology (DST), aims to use puddles of feted teachers to hold virtual classrooms for weak children in certain subjects using holograms, 3D models and 3D models for interactive learning.
Vinod Rao, Secretary, Primary and Secondary Education, told TII, “Hologram Tech is one of the technologies that are considered to improve our learning outcomes.
Other technology considered is 3D animation, interactive learning, gaming and teaching topics through augmented reality.” Rao Saying the idea behind introducing technology intervention is to encourage the idea of ’edutainment’ in the learning process for children and teachers, which can accelerate learning and produce interest in children.
The plan department to group students who have difficulty in learning in Taluka -level and ask them to take lessons from the award-winning teachers from government schools, especially those who have designed unique ways to teach certain subjects.
Lessons will be broadcast to these groups through hologram technology, virtual reality or video walls.
“The learning process will be interactive, where teachers take questions from students spread throughout the state.
They can then explain the concepts through 3D models through augmented reality,” said an official of the Senior Education Department.
