Ranchi: Three days after the Country Cabinet approved the new industrial policy, Minister of Hemant’s chairman Soren on Friday directed by industrial department officials to form a special team to develop a production and marketing strategy for JHARCRAFT.
He also asked officers to form a research team and design to lurk the better prospects for the country.
During the Meeting of the Industrial Department Review, Soren said, “Jharcraft products are good quality and in demand.
However, there is no supply of adequate products in the market.
Jharcraft needs to be carried out professionally and efforts must be made to find new markets for its products.” He added , “The state has sufficient prospects in the LAC and Sutra industry, but there has not been much progress in these two sectors.
The research and design team needs to be formed to enable commissioning industry processing units for LAC and Sutra in the state.” The statement issued by the government said The meeting was also attended by the Head of Secretary of Sukhdev Singh and the Puja Singhal Industry Secretary.
In particular, the government said the objectives of the new industrial policy were to take an investment worth Rs 1 lakh crore and provide employment for five lakh people.
