Team from Israel visited Jhansi to help in refilling ground water in the B’Khand area

Jhansi: As part of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between the Israeli government and the government above, the Expert team from Israel arrived here and visited several villages on Tuesday.
The team will share his expertise and technology in filling ground water in the Bundelkhand region.
Sharing details of their visit, Jhailesh Chief Development Officer (CDO), Shailesh Kumar told TII that the Israeli team visited the region under the Indo-Israel Bundelkhand Air Project Agreement signed in 2019 to explore better roads to enrich water sources as Israel and Bundelkhand.

Based on the agreement, Israel will also help knock up water resources and new water harvesting through the latest technology, creating water efficiency in irrigation by motivating villagers to use sprinklers and drip irrigation while shrinking flood irrigation, CDO said.
