NEW DELHI: Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday stated Team India must come together to struggle coronavirus and encouraged the Centre to secure vaccines and disperse them to countries. In an internet briefing, Kejriwal maintained India delayed beginning its own vaccination programme by 6 months. “World over, states had begun vaccinating their own people. However, in India, as opposed to vaccinating our very own folks, the vaccines have been shipped overseas. Had we began the vaccination programme before, we might have saved lots of people in the next wave,” he explained. Kejriwal maintained Centre requested countries to secure the vaccines by themselves. “Each CM has attempted to secure vaccines but no nation was in a position to organize them. Many nations took out international tenders but neglected,” he explained. The ministry said countries are prepared to confirm the Centre from the battle against coronavirus. “We cannot afford to get rid of this battle. If Centre will eliminate the struggle, it will not be BJP however India that’ll eliminate the struggle,” he said, while urging the Centre to secure the vaccines and then disperse them into countries.
