Patna: District Judge (DM) Patna, Chandrashekhar Singh, has formed a team to identify and arrest people who provide fake RT-PCR reports to leaflets at Jayaprakash Narayan International Airport.
According to the source, the move was taken after the Indian Airport Authority (AAI) wrote to the district government, telling it about RT-PCR racquets run on Patna.
DM told this newspaper on Saturday that several leaflets produce fake Covid negative reports at the airport.
“Aai also suspects that fake RT-PCR racquets are running with the help of several airport employees,” he added.
The team, consisting of three members, has conducted a major survey in the airport spot and talked to various sources.
This will send the report in a few days to DM.
“We are not sure why the airport authority suspects that fake RT-PCR racquets are being carried out on Patna because our team has not found concrete evidence in this matter.
Therefore, we have asked officials to share fake reports with us so we can find out where they are Derived.
If the accusation is true, strict action will be taken against the people involved in the racket, “said Singh.
It is mandatory for passengers to bring a negative RT-PCR report before flying to Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, and international purposes.
Santosh Kumar, Deputy General Manager of Patna Airport (Air Traffic Management), also claimed that some airlines have reported that several leaflets traveling to these countries is the Forged RT-PCR report.
“The hard copy of the fake RT-PCR report and their pdf file looks real.
However, when the authorities spoke with the pathological lab staff concerned for confirmation, they claimed that the report had not been issued by them,” Santosh said.
