Hyderabad: software engineering with MNC ended his life due to alleged marriage problems in Sanathnagar on Saturday night.
The deceased was identified as SK Jameel, 31, a resident of Allapur in Sanathnagar.
On October 26, 2020, Jameel married Sohaila Khan from Nuziveedu.
After marriage, according to the police, there is a difference between Jameel and Sohaila.
A year after their marriage, October 2021, based on Sohaila’s complaint, a case was registered against Jameel and his parents under it 498-a (lowering a married woman to atrocities), 420 (cheating) from the IPC at the Nuziveedu Police Station.
“Jameel and his parents were arrested in the case,” said Inspector of Sanathnagar Muthu Yadav.
This case was still under investigation and, according to the police, Jameel was upset about the difference with the Sohaila family and police case.
After lunch on Saturday, Jameel went to his room on the ground floor of their homes to sleep.
Because he didn’t come out for dinner, family members knocked on the door.
Because there was no response from Jameel, they peered through the window and found it depending on the ceiling fan.
“He was declared dead at the nearest hospital.
In a suicide record, Jameel said that because of harassment from his wife and family members, he decided to end his life.
Based on his father’s complaint, we registered actions against suicide cases against his wife and family members,” said Inspector.
