Bhubaneswar: Considering an increase in the Covid-19 situation, the state government on Wednesday decided to reopen technical universities, professional techniques / universities, polytechnics, diploma institutions, and itís and start teaching physical classes for the past year postgraduate students (PG), Bachelor (UG), Diploma and ITI program with the effects of August 9.
The development of the skills and department of technical education has made a decision to reopen educational institutions under administrative control for students last year after all prevention steps such as sanitation and complete disinfection of classrooms, laboratories, hostels are taken according to Covid-19 guidelines.

Wearing a face mask or face cover will be mandatory.
Institutions must often ensure hand cleaning or sanitation hands in their place.
Spitting will be strictly prohibited on campus.
Social distance (a distance of six feet) will be adopted in classrooms, libraries, and laboratories.
If necessary, a bustling class can be divided into batches and teaching hours in a day can be extended.
Breathing etiquette will be strictly followed.

Educational institutions must encourage monitoring their own health.
Reporting of diseases by students and staff must be mandatory.
The technical institution must keep the isolation room in all hostels ready for immediate shift in prisoner reporting disease.
“The research activities will also begin in physical mode from August 9 other than the start of teaching physical classes for PG, UG, Diploma and ITL courses,” said Secretary with the Department of Ajay Kumar Nayak.
