Jaipur: Technical disorders continue to postpone the receipt process at Rajasthan University and its constituent universities for the second consecutive day on Tuesday.
While the day-1 sees the submission of 450 forms of acceptance, thousands of other people fail to submit due to poor server speeds.
The acceptance process for 9,000 seats starts on August 9 and will continue until August 19.
The first cut-off list will be announced on August 25.
Barmer Resident Sohan Jangid, who was in Jaipur to enter Maharaja College, in improvement.
He deposited the registration fee, but a technical error failed to produce a form of acceptance.
“The speed is very slow so it takes almost 2 hours to deposit costs and at that time to produce the form of acceptance, the site becomes unresponsive,” said Jangid.
Ru expects more than 30,000 forms to be submitted until the last date.
Those who come from remote areas and are inexperienced with the online receipt of dealing with problems.
In most cases, students find it difficult to receive clean IDs and passwords on their registered email IDs.
Mohan Meena, a Jaipur resident, said the university website was not cellular so it was very difficult to follow instructions.
“Ideally, the website must have a desktop version and cellular version.
The majority of students do not have access to a laptop,” Meena said, which after repeated efforts have succeeded in producing a form of acceptance.
Toi calls SL Sharma, RU reception coordinator, for updates to the reception process, but it is not available for comments.
Nirmal Choudhary, a self-proclaimed student leader who runs a campaign to help students in reception, say this has become an annual phenomenon.
“RU has an infonet department, which is equipped with high-tech machines and tools needed to handle the receipt process.
Failure shows that they do not have the right person to do the job.
I prefer that they have to outsource the receipt process to the agent,” said Choudhary.
