Technopark created more than 1.5k work in 2021

Thiruvananthapuram: Even when the Covid pandemic has triggered a massive work loss around the world, Technopark here has been against the trend by creating more than 1,500 fresh jobs.
During the financial year 2020-21, around one lakh sq.ft office space was allocated to 41 companies by Technopark.
In addition, everything is arranged to distribute 1,10,000 room sq.ft to 30 other companies immediately.
This step is expected to produce 1,600 new jobs during pandemic, on export income, Technopark has a reason to entertain because it records the 611-crore RS leap in income at 2020-21 compared to the previous fiscal.
Year 2020-21 saw exports carrying RS 8,501 Crore from 460 companies compared to RS 7,890 Crore from 450 companies in the previous year.
In the past 20 months, the IT then strengthens its workforce by creating 1,700 job opportunities.
