Palghar: A 16-year-old boy sank in a water hole in the construction site in Vasai from Palghar Maharashtra district on Thursday, a citizenship official said.
A group of boys from Shirdi Nagar from Nalla Sopara roamed the construction site when they found a hole and decided to swim in it, the official said.
Some boys saw Tiwari’s sticky victims sank and tried to pull them out of the hole, but the boy slipped and fell back, he said.
The firefighters from the Virar-Vasai Municipal Corporation (VVMC) rushed to the scene around 5pm and fishing with the help of bamboo sticks, the official said.
Deputy Head of the Vasai Unit SS Divakak Singh said the builder did not take precautions to make people distance themselves from holes and actions to be taken against the builder.
