Police Thane had arrested a 15-year-old boy to rob a cellphone from the busy market of Jambhali Naka and confiscated nine phones worth Rs 1.52 lakh from his ownership.
The police said that a case was registered in the robbery and there was very little direction in this case.
During an investigation, the police found a unique modus operandi where a teenager was involved.
