Mysuru: A young man who allegedly attacked and killed his father and a woman, used a sharp weapon, at the last house in Srinagar in South Mysuru on Thursday.
“Both of them died in a place while the woman was injured and was hospitalized,” said Mysuru South Police.
The deceased has been identified as Shivaprakash (56) and Latha (48).
Sagar was accused (28), Shivaprakash’s son, was running around.
The son of Latha Arjun, 27 years old, was hospitalized with an injury.
The reason for attacks and murders is unknown.
The police have launched a search for Sagar accused.
Police supervisors, R Shivakumar, said that the incident occurred as soon as Shivaprakash reached the house of Latha around 10pm on Thursday.
Sagar followed his father Shivaprakash, a trader, and took a fight with him for the family’s problem and then attacked his father with a sharp weapon that killed him in place.
Then, Sagar attacked Latha also with the same weapon.
He died in place.
Arjun tried to save his mother from the attack but was in vain.
The source claimed Latha was the Nagaraj widow, which was the Shivaprakash business partner.
After Nagaraj’s death in 2016 Shivaprakash had cared for the latha family.
This was said to be the motive behind the murder when Sagar accused his father ignoring his family to care for his friend’s family.
Latha has three children – two daughters and a son.
Shivaprakash has two children – a daughter and a son – and he lives with his family in Kuppal kg.
