Rajkot: A 17-year-old girl who has married running away with a man, while playing online games, traced from Bengaluru, a month after he left his home private company, arrested and ordered for rape and part of the Pocso Law.
The girl lives with her family in Jas and Taluka’s village from Rajkot and studies stopped after passing class XII.Police said the 17-year-old girl and six months have left her home on January 2 who approached the Aatkot police station.
Previously, the police suspected that he might have left home because of several disputes in the family and will be back soon.
However, when he did not return for several days, violations of the kidnapping were registered.
Using technical supervision while making other efforts to track it, the police knew that he used his brother’s cellphone.
One checked the phone, the police found that he was playing a game called ‘Free Fire,’ shooting game where many players can join online.
When checking the call detailed record, the police found the name Chandrakant Das Mohandas.
“The girl originally played with many players but then she began to talk with her and both exchanged contact details.
They began talking on the phone for hours,” said a police officer.
One day, Chandrakan asked him to come with him and he immediately agreed.
He came to Ahmedabad from Bengaluru and then reached Rajkot to take the girl.
When a police team reached its location, he told them that the girl was in her room.
The police took them both to Rajkot.
