Teens are held to steal shipping goods for boys in Kolkata

Kolkata: The Cheru market police have arrested a 19-year-old boy for allegedly stealing the parcel should be transported by delivery boys in South Kolkata.
Police said he accused Rabi Saha, a resident of Santoshpur in Maheshtala, has stolen goods worth 10,000 Rs, including clothing and cosmetics, from boyfriend Boy Raja Saha (39) in Sultan Alam Road on Thursday.
He might have robbed other shipping people, too, police said.
“The defendant usually waits for delivery boys to park their vehicles and enter the house to hand over the items,” said an officer.
“The complaint was submitted by the king, who said some items were stolen when he delivered the items and save the bag in his bicycle.
We collected CCTV recordings and saw a pedicab puller who took a bag from a bicycle and contained it on his rickshaw.
We have recovered all the stolen items,” said DC (South) Akash Magharia.
