Patna: RJD leader Tejashwi Prasad Yadav went to Kusheshwar Astan on Wednesday night, explained that he would not be present at the Centenary celebration of the Bihar Legislative Building in Patna to be attended by President Ram Nath Kovind on Thursday.
Assembly assembly for Tarapur and Kusheshwar Astan is scheduled for October 30.
The source said the majority of RJD MLA was also expected to skip the event.
They said Tejashwi was only given 3 minutes to speak in the function and reason Thane behind his leap.
When asked about the reason to miss the event, Tejashwi said he had told the speaker assembly.
“You all know that I am alone to campaign in the election.
There is little time left and I have to be in the middle of a person,” he told reporters.
State spokesman RJD Chitranjan Gagan also said the schedule to hold a campaign at Kusheshwar Astan had been prepared again.
“Tejashwi is present at the airport today to accept the President,” Gagan said.
Tejashwi strictly campaigned for three days in Tarapur before returning to Patna on Tuesday.
He was seen spending time in the field of agriculture and fishing with local boys in Tarapur.
In fact, his fishing exercises invited comments from JD (U) National President Rajeev Ranjan alias Lallan, who took Jibe in Tejashwi and said it showed a lack of self-confidence before Byeletion.
Tejashwi hit Lallan and demanded his apology from all the fishermen community because he took Jibe like that.
