Patna: Get out of the power of Bihar for almost four years, the leader of RJD Tejashwi Prasad Yadav now wants to revive his party base in neighboring Jharkhand.
Tejashwi will go to Jharkhand on a two-day trip on September 18 to hold a series of meetings with party leaders and workers to write a strategy to revive the party base that is lost in a mineral rich state.
“According to the scheduled program, Tejashwi will reach Ranchi by air on September 18th.
Immediately after landing at Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi, he will go to the Hinno area to Garland from the statue of Bihar CM Jannayak Karpori.
From Hinoo, Tejashwi will go to Birsa Chowk Where he will be a bouquet of the tribal veteran icon of Bhagwan Birsa Munda.
On the same night, Tejashwi will hold a meeting with a member of the Party Core Committee in Jharkhand, “Senior Leader of RJD and former Jharkhand Mla Radha Kishore told Tii by telephone on Sunday.
Kishore, who is in Bihar’s capital on Sunday to extend an official invitation to the opposition leader in the Bihar Assembly, further informing that Tejashwi will also hold a separate meeting with several senior party leaders and discuss the problems related to both.

“On September 19, Tejashwi would handle meeting workers at the Big Banquet Hall in the area.
Party workers from many parts of the Jharkhand have been invited to Tejashwi’s meeting,” Kishore said.
The Jharkhand Unit President RJD Abhay Singh held a meeting with the senior party leaders in Ranchi on Saturday to review sustainable preparations to receive a major welcome in Tejashwi when he reached Jharkhand Capital on September 18.
Contact RJD decided to make 10 new members of the Lakh to expand the party base in almost all districts.
“When Jharkhand was carved from Bihar in November 2000, RJD then Prasad had a total of nine members in the first Jharkhand Assembly.
But the number of MLA was reduced to seven after the 2005 and five assembly polls after the 2009 Assembly poll,” said a senior leader RJD.
At present, RJD has only one MLA Satyanand Bhokta who is a cabinet minister in the LED Hemant Coalition Government in Jharkhand.
