Patna: Opposition Leader in the State Assembly and RJD Supremo Kids Younger Then Prasad Tejashwi Prasad Yadav tied the knot with his old friend, Rachel Iris, in a “secret” marriage in his brother’s farmhouse, Misa Bharti in New Delhi on Thursday.
The marriage occurred immediately after the ring ceremony with a Hindu ritual.
While Tejashwi wore Sherwani Golden, Iris had chosen traditional red Lehenga on his special day.
Sources say Tejashwi and Iris have learned together in DPS, Delhi.
In one of the images floating on social media, iris can be seen touching the legs of Tejashwi Tej Pratap and looking for his blessings.
Although not much known about Iris, his social media account revealed that he had followed Tejashwi for a long time on Twitter.
During the election of assembly in Bihar, he has tweeted several tweets that support RJD.
Even Tejashwi followed Iris on Twitter.
The source said Tejashwi and Iris had studied together in DPS, Delhi and the latter had worked as air hostess for some time.
“His father is a lecturer in college,” said a RJD leader who was close to the family.
While all the brothers who have gathered at the wedding, Tejashwi Rohini Acharya’s sister, based in Singapore, shared photos on the social media platform and congratulated the new partner.
Former Uttar Pradesh cm Akhilesh Yadav and his wife Dample Yadav can also be seen in a family photo clicked during the wedding.
However, no other political leaders can be seen and even the media is not allowed at the event.
