Hyderabad: Telangana recorded 494 new Covid-19 cases and three deaths on Tuesday while the number of active cases in the country was established at 8,112.
The cumulative load rose to 6.50,353 and the death toll became 3,831.
The country now has 25 active detention zones, most of them in Jagtial, Karimnagar and Nalgonda.
A total of 621 patients recovered on Tuesday took the total recovery to 6.38,410.
The case fatality rate (CFR) remains 0.58 percent while the recovery rate is now at 98.16 percent now.
So far 79.9 percent of the overall cases in this country have been asymptomatic.
Great Hyderabad recorded 80 cases on Tuesday, while the neighboring district of Medchal-Malkajgiri, Rangitteddy and Sangareddy each saw 26, 23 and five new Covid-19 cases.
Elsewhere, Karimnagar – with 51 new cases – see the highest number of cases among other districts.
